Since the inception of the MAP program in 1984, Pfizer has proudly funded more than 1,000 research and medical education endeavors. Regrettably, Pfizer’s External Medical Affairs made the difficult decision to suspend the Medical and Academic Partnerships (MAP) program.

Although the MAP Fellowship and Visiting Professorship programs have been suspended, Pfizer remains committed to supporting and advancing research, innovation, and medical education for academic centers and schools of medicine, nursing, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, and public health. Academic institutions and other organizations may continue to apply for funding through Pfizer’s Public – Private Partnerships and Other Pfizer Programs.
