(MAP) awards are classified into two program types: Pfizer Fellowships and
Pfizer Visiting Professorships.
Pfizer Fellowships
| Program Objective: | For postdoctoral fellows. These nationally competitive awards support talented clinicians and/or researchers early in their careers. |

Pfizer Visiting Professorships
| Program Objective: | For US medical schools, teaching hospitals, or organizations working on health literacy or public health issues. These nationally competitive grants support host institutions by enabling an expert of their choice to lead a 3-day exchange with students, faculty, physicians, nurses, research fellows, community members, and others at the host institution. |
| Program Design: | Up to 8 Visiting Professorships of $7,500 each |
| Application Deadline: | February 12, 2010 |
| Awards Announced: | April 30, 2010 |
