About MAP

As a reflection of our commitment to the advancement of health care, Pfizer Inc is pleased to support medical innovation in a wide range of disciplines through our Medical & Academic Partnerships (MAP) awards.

Our Fellowships and Scholars Grants - career-building opportunities for academic researchers in basic, outcomes, and patient-oriented research - are key among these efforts. In addition, the Pfizer Visiting Professorships continue to be a resource for in-depth, clinically focused exchange between medical schools and host organizations and outside scholar-scientists. Independent Academic Advisory Boards select all our awards recipients. These boards also help direct the structure and scope of MAP’s programs to optimize the impact of the innovation they support.

Another of our objectives is the development of leadership for tomorrow. Through partnered programs such as the NIH Clinical Research Training Program, MAP is working to strengthen the momentum needed for progress in specific areas of patient care.
